The couple almost always worked at the interface between art, design and architecture, which is perhaps best illustrated by the art projects they created together in public spaces, such as a number of children's playgrounds.

Parallel to their joint activities, both Susi and Ueli Berger pursued their own projects. While Susi Berger was particularly active in the field of graphic design, Ueli Berger was involved in various art projects, alone or as part of the avant-garde group “Bern 66”.
