Charles and Ray Eames were commissioned by their friend and fellow architect Eero Saarinen to design a modern, comfortable piece of seating furniture that could also be manufactured industrially. The result was the Lounge Chair, which is now considered a timeless masterpiece.

The Lounge Chair quickly became a symbol of luxury and modern lifestyle.

It can be found not only in numerous homes, but also in renowned museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

The Lounge Chair has won numerous prizes and awards for its innovative design and outstanding craftsmanship, including the Industrial Design Award.
